Subject Identifier Material sensitivity

Funerary and sacred material defaults to source-community disclosure. A mesh is a replication asset, and for such material visibility may itself be the harm.

2 · What is in shot

A calibrated scale bar is in frame A colour reference target is in frame

Without a scale reference the model has shape but no size — and an object with no size cannot be measured, compared against a written description, or matched to an excavation record. It is the single highest-value thing to put in the frame.

Autofocus silently changes the focal length, which invalidates the lens profile for every frame after it. Locking the optics keeps one camera model valid for the whole session.
